Bio
Georgia Sozou
Georgia Sozou (b. 1999, Larnaca, Cyprus) is a visual artist whose practice explores identity, the body, collective memory and social roles, with a particular interest in experiences that often remain invisible. Working primarily through mixed media, installation and material-based practices, she brings together fragile, domestic and industrial materials to examine the tensions between seemingly opposing social structures and experiences.
She studied at the School of Visual and Applied Arts (AUTh) where she received her Integrated Master of Fine Arts degree in 2025. She has also attended seminars at the Goethe-Institut Thessaloniki.
